Unfortunately I have had to abandon trying to take the Pauling therapy as it continues to make me very sick no matter what form [of vitamin C] I use. My gastric by pass was in 2000 so is not recent. I continue to develop more and more issues as time goes by. My doctor, who had originally suggested the [vit c/lysine] therapy has advised me to abandoned it because he feels I am not absorbing the nutrients I need because of continual intestinal problems while taking only the minimum amount of vit C. Woman now has great trouble taking vitamin C - even Lypo-C. Immediate diarrhea.
I suggested IV/C - she said her veins are "shot".
Any ideas appreciated.
