According to the lipid experts at Atherotech (VAP test) the only known ways to lower Lp(a) are vitamin B3 (Niacin) and vitamin C, and the effect is around 30%. Presumably they reviewed the papers available at the time I read this on their web site.

As we have reported here - 30% is about what the New York Medical School professor found measuring his own Lp(a) on vitamin C and lysine - over six months to a year. Then he added proline, skipped (forget) a test, but one year later his Lp(a) was ZERO.
Zero after adding proline, and he called me.
