In 2 months 4 injections cholesterol dropped from 310 to 170 ldl 230to 77.Scary.Woukd not continue due to uncertainty of future side effects.

No doubt prescription medications lower cholesterol, and 383 mg/dl is a very high cholesterol reading.

The first thing is that at one scoop daily (the suggested preventive dosage) you would only be getting 2,500 mg of vitamin C. We learn from the Ginter work as discussed in Linus Pauling's 1986 book HOW TO LIVE LONGER AND FEEL BETTER, that cholesterol in humans normalizes to 180 mg/dl based on the amount of vitamin C you take. So cholesterol can be a measure of whether your vitamin C intake is optimal. Yours is clearly not. Also in the book, Pauling recommended 6000 mg to 18,000 mg of vitamin C daily.

The first suggestion is to increase your vitamin C, at least double the Cardio-C dosage and consider adding vitamin C powder to your drinks, slowly, to see how much you can tolerate. That vitamin C which is absorbed into the blood stream does not create the gas and/or loose stools.

The other thing to realize is that the body creates more cholesterol as a response to heart disease. Artificially lowering cholesterol probably won't help you fight the disease. Here is an interesting article by a Pharmacist that tries to explain this concept:
