Cloudy Urine

Post Number:#1  Post by ascorbicjoe » Sat Mar 25, 2006 8:19 pm

Today I was surprised with cloudy urine. I have never encountered that in my life. Since, I am taking more supplements than ever, I was wondering whether this is just freak thing or related to supplements. I feel okay, not unlike most days. Could dehydration do this. I was busy yesterday and today with less water intake. Thank you for any comments or ideas. I take the following daily.

15-20g of V-C
a multi-vitamin
flax oil
fish oil
cod liver oil
magnesium
calcium
zinc
selenium
Super - B tablet
Lysine
beta-carotene
ginko biloba
saw palmento
extra B-6 (for my carpal tunnel)
Co-E 10
Vitamin D (during winter months)
Glucosamine Sulfate

Sorry for any misspellings, this is off the top of my head.

We all get gunked up from time to time.

You'll have to do the detective work to see what's causing it.

Diet or a supplement or some additive that doesn't agree with you.

I would drink some cranberry and flush the pipes.

I use cranberry tea with xylitol, one cup works every time.

You may have to do it every day untill it's clear.

I know that when I take a Super B complex that I have cloudy urine. That means that excess vitamins are being excreted. This happens with vitamin E for me also.

B Vitamins may make your urine a bright yellow - almost neon-looking - but the urine should still be clear (non-opaque). Excreting phosphates in your urine can make it cloudy but so can pus, bacteria and other sediment.

First make sure you are getting enough water. Aim for a gallon (128 oz) per day. If the cloudy urine persists then have a urinalysis done at a doctor's office.

Today it was clear. I have increased my water consumption, too.

I suppose it could be anything. I will not concern myself further unless is comes back.

Thanks for the input.
