Vitamin C- which brand in UK

What is vitamin C? Is there such a thing as a vitamin C complex? Why do so many people now believe in the complex?

Vitamin C- which brand in UK

Post Number:#1  Post by asharma » Sun May 07, 2017 8:07 am

hi Owen,
I am based in London,UK. can you please advise if there are any brands available in UK which you recommend to take?
Or is there anyway I can get vitaminCfoundation recommended vitamin C powder in UK?

I searched on quali-c powder in UK and one came by DSM but there is a comment by DSM:

"the vitamin C is made exclusively from Non GMO corn. However the ascorbic acid powder is certified free of any corn proteins or other ingredients or residue, so it is safe even for corn and other allergies".

Andd comment from "World's Finest Vitamin C Powder 300 g " on vitamincfoundation site says:
"it is tested corn free".

So I am confused on whether I should look for Non GMO Non CORN Vit C powder or just Non GMO Vitamin C Powder?

From the comment by quali-c DSM above , it looks like eventually Vit C is made from Corn only but whether it is GMO or NON GMO is what matters.

Please advise.

Our Vitamin C is made by DSM (formerly Roche) in Darby Scotland. They were the original manufacturers (back in the 1930s) and we believe it is the highest quality vitamin C on the planet. Now DSM has Chinese manufacturing plants, but if the product is labeled Quali-C, it is from Scotland. (Much like Coors beer - if it is labeled "Banquet" it comes from Colorado, but they make a lot of Coors beer on the east coast :( )

In my opinion, you can trust DSM Vitamin C, as you can trust quite a few large Chinese companies.
