DMSO or Allgery - What could be raising my BP?

Post Number:#1  Post by tangy » Tue Apr 09, 2019 1:05 pm

I was talking 10ml of DMSO and increased it to 20ml and I am experiencing high BP 130/70. I am taking Silymarin and calcium Glucarate with the DMSO. I also have food allergies and other allergies. Either with the DMSO or the supplements, I take with them or it is the allergies that are causing the high BP. I don't know which.

I experience pressure on my head and I know that my BP is high. I also have a BP tester which I check my BP with regularly.

Some people are allergic to the calcium gluconate as its made from shellfish. Perhaps this is the issue.
Saying that 130/70 isn't high at all and i wouldn't worry about it , perhaps high for your normal?
When i take DMSO like that my BP goes up slightly as my heart rate drops a little.

@ jimmylesante I am taking Now Calcium D-Glucarate they didn't mention shellfish on the bottle. I am a little allergic to prawns. Thanks for the tip! I get a bad migraine when my BP is high it could be the allergic reaction.

Sorry, my mistake. I mentioned the wrong supplement name.

I am getting high systolic pressure and low diastolic pressure for some reason. My BP is 126/ 67. Any ideas what is causing it and how to resolve it? I have stopped DMSO for the time being.

The diastolic reading is low, isn't it?

67 is not low, it is good. Below 60 is considered low, but one could have a reading in the 50's, and as long as they''re feeling alright, and the systolic is okay, it's not a problem. As long as it doesn't stay there. Blood pressure fluctuates a crazy amount during the day due to all matter of things. I'm not a doctor, and this is not medical advice. You should talk to your doctor if you're concerned.

It is the increased pulse pressureof 59,which would have me concerned a bid too. A lack of common minerals, magnesium and potassium, could be one factor.

I think if the age was higher yes, but at 37 a pulse pressure of 59? Could be a number of things from being normal, or some meds/supplements or anemic. Clogged aorta, heart valves or even an overactive thyroid.
Maybe allergies and an antihistamine may change the BP?

But on the face of things all good

Yes, I have to take antihistamine daily along with steroid nasal spray while sleeping due to chronics nasal blockage.
