Calories are what matter

a better example is
200 calories of sugar same as 200 calories of protein
are those the same? no, they are processed differently in the body

I am not saying calories are all the same
my point is MUCH more simple than that,
people are obese because they eat too many calories
, that's all there is too it

people can eating sugar all day or whatever they want, BUT if they stay under how m any calories they burn, they will lose weight.

will it be hard? yes
will there body fight them? yes, NPY will go up, ghrenlin goes up, eventually leptin will drop.. all telling the brain(post hypo) that you are gonna die unless you eat.....

so yes, calories mattter, you can eat a boat load of non-starchy veggies compared to one candy bar

then the topic is changing to HOW WE GET FAT

https://bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/ ... -fat.html/

which is complex in itself
do you know how rare it is to convert excess carbs (sugar) into fat? conversion of carbs to fat (a process called de-novo lipogenesis or DNL) can happen but the requirements for it to happen significantly are fairly rare in humans under most conditions (to discuss this in detail would require a full article, interested readers can search Medline for work by Hellerstein or Acheson on the topic).

Jason begs to differ and he has convinced me. Obesity is rampant and unabated even with obesity "experts" and doctors telling their patients to move more and eat less. It never works over time.

I thought this actual study might be of interest

https://gizmodo.com/a-new-diet-study-co ... 818556/amp

IT shows that people who were in isolation and given 2000 calories of refined food for 4 weeks gained MORE weight than a similar group of people who were given 2000 calories of only natural foods for 4 weeks

so refined food makes you gain more weight than natural foods!

opps, no I misread it all

the study shows, (now this is SHOCKING and CRAZY NEW, no one willl ever BELIEVE#end scarcasm)
people eat MORE refined foods, than they do UNRefined foods

apparently eating a can of potato chips is more yummy than eating a potato!!!
who knew!
This is shocking, Right?

study shows people eat 2000 calories of potato chips and only 100 calories of potato, so they gain weight eating refined foods and lose weight eating natural foods

#Bliss point
#excitotoxins
#msg,
#"natural flavors"
etc
---all make food YUMMY

so people gain weight cause they UNDERestimate what they eat and OVERestiate calories burned

shocking right?
cept this prof who lost Fat, whilst eating junk food(elvated insulin) because he TRACKED calories
http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/11/08/tw ... index.html

read this article from lyle mcdonald and he sums it all up very nicely

YOU ARE NOT DIFFERENT
