The main finding, rather than the ACE-2 receptor, which was originally said to be how COVID attacked the human body, early on they discovered that the ?7 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor is what COVID used to enter cells. Ardis's research found that the reason nicotine helps people stop dying from snake bites, is because nicotine binds 30 X better to these receptors than the venom. When he realized that COVID and the vaccines have snake venom (the spike proteins are genetically identical to various venoms) he reasoned that nicotine would displace the venoms on these receptors, leading to the cell in question being reactivated. This seems to work. (It turns the cells on, but does not necessarliy destroy the spike proteins which are released from the receptor. Of great interest is his finding that all viruses and venoms enter cells via the ?7 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor. And this explains why all the latest anti-viral vaccinations contain venoms. These venoms would block the virus and thus prevent the virus from entering cells and replication.

Well, if all this is correct, than nicotine would also block viruses, and would be a preventive of the common cold and the flu.
