Who is Simon Y and what did you find compelling about that presentation? (At least it was short).

Lets take what he says as fact, it has nothing to say about virology. Maybe it was the first time vaccines have created a world-wide illness, but how could they have and how did they make 50 to 100 million doses in 1918? His claim is that everyone who got sick was also got the vaxx?

Just checking on the history of vaccines... this doesn't mean he has his facts wrong, but the timeline in this article doesn't support Mr. Y.

Influenza: Spanish Influenza Pandemic and Vaccines

In the deadly Spanish influenza pandemic of 1918-19, investigators attempted to develop vaccines to prevent influenza, though they had not yet correctly identified the causative pathogen. A variety of killed whole cell bacterial vaccines were tested; these vaccines included Bacillus influenzae (now know as Haemophilus influenzae) and strains of pneumococcus, streptococcus, staphylococcus, and Moraxella catarrhalis bacteria. These vaccines would certainly not have prevented influenza infection--as we know now, the pandemic was caused by a new strain of the influenza A virus. Influenza viruses would not be isolated and identified until the 1930s, and the first commercial influenza vaccines were not licensed in the United States until the 1940s.

This seems much more plausible - that when the outbreak hit, they tried existing "killed whole cell bacterial vaccines" to fight it. And again, even if they had been able to manufacture and distribute 50 to 100 million doses worldwide, and this was the underlying cause of the 1918 pandemic, and that Fauci is a pathological liar, etc., this has nothing to say about the science of virology.

Big difference between 50 and 100 million, not sure I would trust their numbers. BTW when the current pandemic ends in 2024 or 25 historical
records might show 2 to 4 billion dead from this virus and we know the numbers are below that of the regular flu.

Can you even imagine letting these guys inject you with anything in 1918 - scary!

So the 2 biggest virus pandemics in the last 100 years are likely false and your conclusion is... This has nothing to say about the science of virology :shock:

I had an interesting chat with a Dr who goes around the world and digs up mass genocide graves and tries to establish death and identity.
He said in our discussion that the biggest killer in the Spanish Flu was the treatment, grams and grams of Aspirin given as a miracle cure.

Over the past few days I have been posting in a covid thread on a UK-based, non-health related message board and I am truly shocked by the reactions I have received. The covid narrative has become almost like a belief system for some of these poor souls and anything that challenges the dogma is attacked viciously. I decided to leave them to their echo-chamber.
