Post by eDOC » Mon Feb 23, 2026 2:42 pm

Yearly follow up labs of a forum member, female in her 40s (catdog7669). Past history MTHFR deficient, hypothyroidism, NAFLD, PCOS and some more. Shall keep posting has I receive.

Fasting Insulin 6.....2–15 mIU/L......Normal – insulin resistance resolved
Fasting Glucose 4.6....3.5–5.5 mmol/L.....Normal
HbA1c 5.6.....<6.0%.......Normal
HOMA-IR 1.23....<2.0 optimal.....Optimal – no insulin resistance

PS: HOMA-IR was/is the metabolic driver of PCOS, inflammation, and immune dysregulation in her case.

Thyroid Panel:

Post by eDOC » Tue Feb 24, 2026 3:31 am

TSH 1.83.........0.50–4.00 mIU/L ....Normal
Free T4 13.5....9.0–19.0 pmol/L .....Normal
Free T3 3.2.....3.5–6.5 pmol/L.......Borderline low – T4→T3 conversion lag.

Euthyroid values.

Thyroid Interpretation: Mild T3 lag, most likely she again has some degree of liver dysfunction like earlier preventing efficient conversion of T4 to T3?

Common questions: Yes she was treated with IV DMSO.
Labs are in PDF format, I ain't that tech savvy to convert, had I been would have posted past 2 yrs of results.
