but how much should I take
and on an empty stomach?

how can I quantify results?

I use it when I can find a time when my stomach is empty and when I remember. I also use Nattokinase as well.

I have both 80000iu and 250000iu caps and I am using the 80000iu caps ATM. I take 3 or 4 at a time with 2 Nattokinase. I will recommend that you take some antioxidants along with it or very close to it because reperfusion injury can cause some problems. There are some strong plant antioxidants which are considerably stronger than vit c but be careful that anything that you take does not affect the Serrapeptase, especially if it has ANY protein.

A long term blood pressure change should be indicative that it is working. Checking your irises can also reveal changes and you should be able to see any places which are affected by arteriosclerosis as well. That shows as a white ring around the outside of the iris which is the arterial circulation, in places where there is hardening of the arteries. This works well for me because I know exactly were the problems lie. I do have have a physical symptom of one place which is affected.

I did monitor my irises while taking serrapeptase/nattokinase and there were changes in my kidneys and a reduction in symptoms. Plus my blood pressure dropped but it is still a bit higher than it was.
