Tried regular VC for a while but now having diarrhea at 8 gm
Is there a Liposomal VC protocol ? What is the max I can take in a day.
Any input will be appreciated.
There is no standard limit by titating to bowel tolerance. For someone like me, with seasonal rhinitis its at 50g ascorbic acid a day. For someone with cancer it can be as high as 200+ grams ascorbiic acid a day.

Liposomal I tolerate 36 g a day. The Phosphaditylcholine in the preparation obviously has its own, and in my experiment, lower bowel tolerance.

If a single dose of 8 g would already cause diarrhea, I would reduce that dose and take more frequently. Up to every 20 minutes of every of the waking hours.

Also would try every method known and reasonable to fight cancer. And not only one.

• re cancer — yes, apply additional techniques. E.g., look into DMSO. See "A Midwestern Doc" articles on SubStack.

• Quantity of one dose of C in liposomal form:

Liposomal C will have some bowel tolerance effects from the phosphaditylcholine — and perhaps also from the carrier liquid.

One might go with 36g in a single dose of high quality Lipo C, as described in the Hickey & Roberts paper on pharmacokinetics of liposomal C.

Poor quality liposomal C in capsule (dry vice liquid) form, at the 1g size, I have found to have a seemingly osmotic diarrhea effect equivalent to about 500 mg AA ... leading me to suspect the poor quality of the liposomal resulting in leaking out AA which then doesn't exit with the liposomes but stays in the gut.

High quality liposomal C in capsule form have little to no osmotic diarrhea effect ... leading me to suspect the high quality of liposomes which maintain their integrity within the gut. But — I'm just guessing. Perhaps Owen F can comment sometime on this aspect.

• Frequency of doses C in liposomal form:

Every 3 hours is often specified. Viewing the graph in the Hickey & Roberts paper on pharmacokinetics of liposomal C, I surmise that every 6 hours would be sufficient. [Just guessing. Look at the graphs, and comment.]
