I am 51 and attempting to regain my health and lose weight, but not doing too well. I have bought some Vit C, Proline and Lysine to try lower chances of heart disease. Does this also work on high blood pressure?

I think you have started going down the right road to better health.

As far as blood pressure, Pauling's protocol can sometimes lower blood pressure significantly. One reason BP rises is because arteries narrow.

The other reasons seems to be calcification.

Pauling's recommended high dosages are key. I would study the following protocol here:

which can be obtained in large measure through a single product: Tower Laboratories Ascorsine-9. (A pleasant tasting drink mix without fillers.) And for the elevated BP, I would be sure to take a good vitamin K (to help regulate the calcium out of soft tissues) and "lots" of magnesium. At least 300 mg daily.

Author Bill Sardi has reported that high dose B6 (200 mg) often works as well for high blood pressure as prescription drugs.
