Korean Scientist Study Vitamin C and Heart Failure

Heart patients who don't get enough Vitamin C could be at a greater risk for cardiac complications -- and even death.

Korean researchers studying heart failure patients found those with the lowest Vitamin C intake were about 2 1/2 times more likely to have heart inflammation than those with the highest Vitamin C intake.

They were also almost twice as likely to die from heart disease within the year of follow up.
