Nurse questioning root canal info in PMWAL book

I am concerned about the problem mentioned in your book concerning root canals. I have taken high doses of vit c since 1971 and have not even had a cold. I do have a root canal and according to your book it appears that no amount of vitamin c will be of any help at all. I rarely check email, so i hope i catch your response, mail or phone i do receive. I am an RN that has been a huge believer in vit c and am now taking the other heart nutrient recommendations that linus pauling has made. i recently began researching again and came across your book, I have found it interesting and informative. However, I am concerned by the information on root canals. Is this true?

Apparently I (and my 18 g of daily vitamin C) was destined to prove the Huggins/Levy postulate. I documented my own "strange" illness, which led me to the conclusion that two separate weeks in intensive care (which baffled my conventional doctors) were caused by pockets of dental toxicity - even though I have never had a root canal! My own conclusion is that my vitamin C intake kept me alive! And that I should visit the dentist more often than every 5-7 years!
