LpA measured or computed

I am curious to know, is there a way to tell via a blood test if the Lp(a) number was
computed(bad)
measured(good)

If the test was done by a major nationwide laboratory - a good bet is was calculated.

Since Lp(a) is a subset of LDL, if the Lp(a) number is HIGHER than the LDL number, clearly something is amiss.

Atherotech (VAP) test went out of business

Smokey Labs used to measure Lp(a) but I couldn't find them using a google search

Life Extension used to offer the VAP test. I don't know whether their Lp(a) test is now measured

But you could try calling life extension and ask them :-)
