Taking preventive dosage, but have high cholesterol

Post by ofonorow » Thu Oct 25, 2012 8:17 am

Hi Owen,

I am currently on 1 jar of cardio-C a month. I do have very high cholesterol, 9.5 out of 10 here in Australia. I was wondering, how much should I be taking a day of the cardio C to reverse this cholesterol? I am happy to change my autoship.

The doctors are driving me crazy.
regards
pamela

Well - I unforunately think in terms of mg/dl - where 180 mg/dl is normal. I am sure there is a conversion and I will post hoping someone will convert.

But the answer is the same. More vitamin C.

From Linus Pauling's book (citing Emil Ginter's extensive research) the level of vitamin C intake is inversely proportional to blood cholesterol - down to the level of 180 mg/dl.

If you have heart disease - increase to 2 3 jars is wise, but you may have to add vitamin C powder (or sodium ascorbate) to increase the vitamin C to the point where your cholesterol drops naturally.
