Another important amino acid for the heart: The power of Taurine
For example on rats: It was possible to prove that taurine makes their heart muscle cells stronger, makes the heart beat stronger. In addition, the heart muscle cells tolerate oxidative stress much better. Even the mitochondria of the heart cells are protected from free radicals. Taurine also increases VO2 max, i.e. endurance and decreases blood pressure.
I take regularly about 2 g.
