A riddle for the doctors
„Actually I was not a typical candidate for a heart attack. I did not have any of the characteristics considered to be a risk. No high cholesterol, never smoked, no alcohol, diet according to the doctors, blood values normal, no high blood pressure, no excessive stress, no overweight, no lack of exercise...
In short, all the risk factors considered dangerous or even causative did not apply to me. And yet I got it twice.
I must have puzzled the doctors with this. Because these are exactly the points on which their understanding and the usual therapy are based: Lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, reduce stress, stop smoking. And in addition they prescribe their helpless medications...“
This is how my new book begins. Title: Lipoprotein(a). I hope it comes out in March.
