Statins prevent heart attacks?
I think no. Never.
I don't know a single study that proves it.
Look for example at the book from Mark Davis: The Dark Side of Statins. New Science Shows How Drugs Like Lipitor May Do More Harm Than Good.

Paul Taylor wrote to me that they have redesigned the English language Dr. Rath Foundation site recently. There I found the article by Paul Taylor about the (final) "Death of cholesterol". I think it's very interesting.
