Lipoprotein(a) and apheresis

Post Number:#1  Post by Frodo » Wed Sep 05, 2018 2:26 pm

The Austrian Journal of Cardiology writes:

„Lp-Apheresis is the only way to significantly reduce lp(a)“.

Based on the Pauling/Rath theory, I consider this and especially the apheresis to be nonsensical.

Does anyone know articles in which it is also said that apheresis is nonsensical?

I asked the Austrian Heart Fund. They answered that progress has of course been made on this subject and that the Austrian Heart Fund is issuing new guidelines.
(„New guidelines“? We‘ll see)

And I asked Dr. Thomas Levy. He answered:

„Apheresis is not something that I have significantly researched or read on, so I have no opinion to offer on it at this time“.
