The inside story: I was getting a new phone, and the customer next to me was called Dave. I blurted out, "You don't look like a Dave." He quizzically looked at me. I said, "You look like a "Mike, ... as in Mike Ditka."
Turns out he is a close friend of Mike Ditka (former Chicago Bears coach) and is a dead ringer. And they both have serious heart disease. I didn't have a card or a good way to explain that both of them could resolve their problems in less than a month
