Why does C and Lysine work?

Post Number:#1  Post by bluemustang » Sat Oct 26, 2019 7:48 pm

I was wondering why vitamin c did not only work for the patient in Pauling's recommendation, and why Lysine was needed and do you need both to make your heart better? I am only taking sodium ascorbate but I want to start taking the Lysine too.

https://heartcure.info/ is where I am talking about how Pauling cured his friend that had heart disease, and the patient said that he had been on vitamin c for a few years, but he was only able to walk after he started the lysine, I found that quite interesting and was confused as to why that was.

I am not surprised you post so much and yet attained no understanding of how Pauling Therapy works

CAD occurs because the body need more collagen to repair arteries from stress/wear and tear.

Collagen synthesis requires vitamin C and lysine

No Collagen means the body will use LP(a) instead

Lp(a) has Lysine Binding sites on it.
so when Lp(a) gets used the LBS that attract more lp(a) and thus make plaques

lysine is needed to make collagen AND fills in those LBS, so more plaques dont get made(cause the LBS site is full of harmless lysine) and it helps to dissolve the plaque

so just taking vit C wont make more collagen and wont fill in the LBS and prevent/dissolve plaques

ah I see thanks, do you recommend any lysine powder or any lysine power would work, I was just taking sodium ascorabate before is that alright? Can I keep taking it till I get the lysine or should I wait, also can I mix both together and take it at the same time. Thanks the therapy just solely involves two supplements Vitamin C and Lysine nothing else right..? Thanks

just buy stuff from walmart, spring valley is cheapest and pure from consumerlabs

yes, Pauling therapy is just 2 supplements
but to clear arteries, you might need
vit k2

thanks, can you take them at the same time? like mix the C powder and lysine powder, lets say 2 grams of sodium ascorbate and 1 gram of lysine powder(tostart) would that be ok? I might try the pills tonight and take lysine on its own, or are you supposed to take them together. thanks for the reply.

Also I should mention how long can you take these two supplements, are you supposed to take them forever or just for 3 months or something.

take them all at once, forever
or take them seperately, forever

I have a big jar of
citrulline
https://www.peaktestosterone.com/Citrul ... efits.aspx

magnesium
vit C
powders and I take them all at once and then add vit K2 and few lysine pills(spring valley)

get an lp(a) test,
check your hormones checked, something is amiss that you have been here so long and arent grasping this material

Johnjackson has some good answers and understanding.

In summary, the cause of heart disease, is a lack of vitamin C which results in weak and unstable arteries over time.

In theory, if a person was taking a "replacement dosage" of vitamin C (6 to 18 grams), or what our livers should be making for themselves if not for the GULO defect, our arteries would be strong and that person would not have heart disease or require extra lysine. (Note: We all need at least 1 gram of lysine in the diet daily to exist.)

Most people are not taking anywhere near that amount of vitamin C, and so our bodies have adapted to "harden the arteries" and keep them from bursting by using a special form of cholesterol - the "sticky" Lp(a). Linus Pauling's (and Matthias Rath's) great invention is that the sticky Lp(a) can be neutralized, so that it cannot be used to harden the arteries. Lysine molecules in the blood bind with the Lp(a) - filling up the lysine binding site, so the Lp(a) can no longer stick to the artery. The genius is that lysine also dissolves existing atherosclerotic plaques.

duh, thanks Owen, I was clueless why Lp(a) is usefrul in the body, now you made me undertand!

I agree with the words you used and not saying, "collagen" as then people are likely to just buy and take colllagen, which is not as useful as vit C and lysine, because collagen gets digested and broken down
