Question about vitamin E

Post Number:#1  Post by Opti » Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:16 am

Does alpha tocopherol supplement deplete gamma tocopherol in body? I used to use LEF Super E (alpha tocopherol only supplement) and my erections were really good. Then I decided to try A.C. Grace Unique E instead of LEF Super E and my erections have been terrible ever since. I'm just worried that taking just alpha tocopherol I'm gonna cause some problems over the years...?

1. No it doesn't deplete.
2. Possibly could be a mixture with synthetic.
Hope both are acetate or succinate?

Since neither I recommend from either manufacturers nor know you're med history can't suggest more.

LEF Super E is D-alpha tocopherol from sunflower oil and Unique E is alpha tocopherol plus high dose mixed tocopherols from GMO soy. I have read a lot about this Unique E supplement and it seems that years ago it was the best vitamin e supplement on the market but now people have started to react negatively to it.

What vitamin E supplement are people using in here?

I replied to you're earlier questions.

1. Alpha doesn't deplete the rest, unless one's GI is messed up.
2. Use whatever serves your needs and suits you.
3. You didn't answer if both are either acetates or succinates?
4. I don't know what members here use, but I personally don't require for any indication, though am 60.
5. GMO? Or non GMO??
6. For my patients recommend tocotrienols.

have started to react negatively to it..... Most don't react negatively without a reason.
Are you suffering from CAD and on Paulings?
As a general rule, one gives a mixed combination of tocotrienols and tocopherols for general support, but in disease it's best to take then separately!

I'll give you a few examples...
Been using Glutathione from Wellness, since 2004. Have tried some others too but nothing works as good in results.
Same for DMSO from Jacobs.
SA from nutricom or DSM.

Good luck, maybe some other member or Owen might help you... Need to work on my COVID19 patients.

eDOC, thanks for taking time to answer me. I have only two health problems, erectile dysfunction and cervical dystonia. My ED got cured with fish oil and vitamin E from non-gmo sunflower oil and when I changed vitamin e supplement from sunflower oil source to gmo soy source ED came back. But anyways, my cervical dystonia has started to become really bad and I'm losing my will to live. I'm so lost at the moment and have started to think about ending my life.

No need to thank.

Keep using the non GMO tocopherol, since it suits you....why try something new. I discard using a med or supplement ONLY when it stops to show the expected results.
Like mentioned Wellness Glutathione is the best, so why use from other manufacturers.
For ED, there are other supplements which give an instant and far better erections (beyond words) that some of my patients are on.
Cervical dystonia is well treatable in many, but cannot give treatment plans without specifics, scans and labs....

And stop being negative and having suicidal thoughts, every disease is well treatable, IF not curable giving a person a far better quality of life. There always is light at the end of the tunnel, learnt after 37 yrs of med. Remain positive and count your blessings!!
CD and ED are nowhere near COVID19.

Good luck.

eDOC, you stated: For ED, there are other supplements which give an instant and far better erections (beyond words) that some of my patients are on.

Would you mind sharing what supplements you are referring to?
thanks

I'm referring to a combination of DMSO plus Niacin.
Their dosages differ among individuals, condition..on how good to bad is the erectile function and desired results.
e.g a patient aged 40 on prescriptive meds like Viagra is satisfied with 2.5 mL DMSO + 250-500 mg of Niacin.
On a lighter note some tell their partner say I feel you'll rupture my esophagus.
Bottom line dose varies and needs to be adjusted accordingly.
I myself once tried and know it works.... 1 mL +250 mg.
Plus it doubles the semen volume.
Do you have ED issues or asking out of curiosity...

Back to COVID19 patients...

EDIT:
For best results, with least dosage I recommend taking approx 20-30.mins before intimacy on an empty stomach!

Plus none post coital neuralgia and prophylaxis against post coitus strokes, in people with vascular insufficiency/ CAD!

Yes,
Even though I am on Testosterone Replacement, not by one of the side of the road type, but a MD Dr. Eugene Shippen, he even wrote a book about it.
I get decent erections for sex, would like them to be more robust. But seem to not have the drive as I used to have, but I am 70.
I will try you suggestions and let you know the outcome.
I am also looking into Wavetec therapy.
thanks you for the reply

Ok, now the picture is bit more clear.

In my professional opinion, Wavetec is more placebo and would take ages to show any significant benefits.

Personally am not in favor of testosterone supplementation for a long duration, the risks outweigh the benefits, when one has access to the great DMSO, one of my favorite.

Am a bit younger, but no change in the thrust, robustness as when was 25. Only difference is than I could have 8 times in 6 hours, now 8 in 24 . None changes in dimensions.

A new plan for you... (It's a freebie so chill).

1. Apply topical 70% DMSO gel from Jacobs, on scrotal sac twice/ thrice daily.

2. Take your testosterone in 2.5 mL DMSO. Quit it once you get you're robustness back, may take a while can't predict since don't know specifics, like labs, lifestyle etc...

3. Take Niacin 500 mg thrice daily again with DMSO.

4. Add K2100 mcg after meal once, Nattokinase 2,000 FU twice daily.

5. Rest as posted earlier, 2.5 mL: 500 mg....DMSO: Niacin ratio, in you're case empty stomach 20 mins before intimacy.

Good luck and you're welcome.

Fantastic, thanks so much for the info.
Does the Niacin need to be flush or No flush type?

I'm a little worried about using niacin because it consumes methyl compounds. We need methylation to make coq10, creatine, carnitine, etc. I'm vegan so I don't get these things from foods so my body has to manufacture them and if I reduce methylation to a bare minimum with niacin, well that seems like a disaster to me.

You're primary issue is Cervical Dystonia.
ED I have none idea, maybe partially controlled by by E, if not totally.
1-1.5 grams of Niacin has none detrimental effects clinically, provided mobility, hydration apart from diet are fine.
Some of my patients take up to 3-6 grams per day.
Far superior with none toxicity vs Isotrenition.

Clinically on ground things differ from what one reads on the net.
