Cardio-C versus Inteligent's new Cardio-CAPS and Cardio-C XL

Post Number:#1  Post by ofonorow » Mon May 23, 2022 10:29 am

Many of our customers have specific questions regarding our two new Pauling-therapy (Cardio-C) products.

We have two new products. Cardio-C XL (to arrive next week) and Cardio-CAPS capsules.

The new Cardio-C XL is virtually identical with the original Cardio-C, and it too is a drink mix and does include Stevia. We now can offer twice the quantity (60 servings) at the same price as the original Cardio-C. The change is that XL does not use DSM's Quali-C as the vitamin C. The replacement ascorbate is manufactured in an ISO facility, certified, tested, etc.

The new Cardio-CAPS do not have Stevia, Vitamin B2, or any fillers other than the rice flour necessary to manufacture the capsules. Ten capsules provide the same amount of vitamin C (as L-ascorbic acid) as one scoop of Cardio-C. As you know, ascorbate is the key ingredient in Pauling's theory of cardio-vascular disease.

The amount of lysine (and proline) were deliberately reduced based on our now 20-year experience. Pauling's original recommendation did not include proline. He recommended equal amounts of vitamin C and lysine, as documented on his Unified Theory Lecture from 1992. (Snippets of this lecture can be viewed at the bottom of https://heartcure.info).

Proline was added based on the recommendations of Pauling's associate Matthias Rath, MD. The proline Lp(a) binding site was discovered by researchers at the University of Chicago. Adding proline is the factor that anecdotally reduces Lp(a) blood levels, sometimes to zero. (In our speculation, the Lp(a) makes heart bypass operations more stable, and we have been concerned and long recommended that heart bypass patients not supplement proline immediately after a coronary bypass graft.)

Proline is not essential. The human body manufactures this amino acid. Cardio-CAPS contain half the level of proline in the Cardio-C drink mix, and would be most appropriate for patients after a bypass operation, or those with already low Lp(a) levels.

Lysine is essential, but we note that the Cardio-CAPS formula allows patients to take more vitamin C (wahich is often indicated) without taking quite as much lysine. The issue with lysine in my mind is that lysine is used to "fatten" livestock. Usually growth is limited by the amount of lysine in the animal's diet. I suspect that there may be a similar "fattening" effect in humans, so we reduced the amount - slightly.

To my mind, Cardio-C CAPS makes an excellent product for ongoing Pauling-therapy maintenance.

I hope this helps and feel free to reply with more questions.
