The simple answer is yes, almost of course. Because both elements (vitamin C and lysine) are essential and required for life itself.

Over the years I have followed many health authors. One stands out and may very well be as infallible as claimed. In my opinion, if there is a concern about either MS or "auto immune" then I highly recommend the knowledge contained in the Medical Medium books by Anthony William.

In a nutshell, according to Mr. William, both MS and "autoimmune" are caused by viral infections, perhaps viral infections at a certain stage combined with specific heavy metal toxins. Details, and protocols to resolve are in the books.
There are multitudes of Medical Medium protocols for various mystery and chronic disease conditions. I note that ALL Medical Medium protocols recommend vitamin C (almost as much as Linus Pauling recommended), as well as zinc, vitamin B12, magnesium and folate.
All the anti-viral protocols recommend lysine, again almost as much, and sometimes more than Linus Pauling recommended.
