No I only have lab test from Quest. Total, HDL, LDL, TRI, LP(a). Quest's LP(a) never seemed to change 19-20 mg/dl. I read here that Quest calculates the LP(a). The Total, HDL and LDL ran pretty close. Q's Tri is a little lower. But then the blood samples were taken three months apart. The new lab is Health Check http://www.healthcheckusa.com/

Been also on
1500mg Niacin
200 Q-10
1000 iu d3
1000mg omega 3
B complex
100 mag citrate
1000 iu E
100mg grape-seed extract
1000mg L-arginine
occasional packet of Lypo-Spheric if I miss my afternoon dose of 10mg Powdered Vit C in water.

Been on the protocol for more than two years almost three but only the last two at full strength where Bt is approached every single day (excess gas)

20gr VitC /day
3gr lysine/day
3 gr proline/day

opinions please

To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is

I can't tell if johnwen is serious as Lp(a) of 1 is really good

Do you know your C bowel tolerance? ( http://www.orthomed.com/titrate.htm ) as 20 g is a very good amount of vitamin C, but if your total cholesterol is 212 (versus 180) that is an indicator you could use even more vitamin C.

Yea, I though you once said any thing below 9 was good number to strive for. My BT is about 20gr Vit C /day or I'm going to be spending excessive amounts of time on the commode!

I too am not all that concerned by your numbers. However, if you can afford it, you might add a packet of Lypo-C - say before bed, which would "safely" add another 5-10 gram vitamin C equivalent (without risk of the commode trip) and see what that does next time to your total cholesterol.
