Never understood why they're called break through cases, when no claims of protection from acquiring CV have ever been made.
The injections only claimed benefit is a reduction in the severity of ones symptoms should they get the covid.
But hey why confuse things with facts and logic. As they say in the news media "Stories grow legs"
95% effective at reducing severe symptoms morphs into just plain old 95% effective.

Fauci says few weeks ago "it's reasonable to assume it lessens spread" (7 months into the global vaccination campaign) was the best he could do. His science for saying that? The viral loads should be smaller in vaccinated according to upcoming study. Wonder if he meant this one that they did Aug 6th:
