The benefit of mainstream media is that you get real journalists with real journalism training. That said, some are considered to be the top of the heap, like NPR. Associated press is also good, and Reuters used to be. I do have some problems with mainstream media. IMO, they really played a part in getting Trump elected, by the way they handled their coverage.
So - saying that the mainstream media can not be relied on, and then putting one's trust in people like Alex Jones, seems more than a little strange. Did you know he was banned from several media outlets because: Infowars “expressly and principally promotes, advocates,
or incites hatred or violence against a group or individual based on characteristics.”
