Can you put Cathcart's sodium ascorbate in an IV?

Re: I am under the impression that this is the right sodium ascorbate to be put into iv solutions, correct?

We believe that the DSM Quali-C sodium ascorbate is a better grade than the sodium ascorbate Dr. Cathcart used in his own practice over many years "without any problems."

But here is what we can say.

Yes - proper IV is made from sodium ascorbate.

A) for physicians interested in mimicking the "home made" IV/C approach of the late expert Dr. Robert Cathcart, per the video lectures we have posted at vitamincfoundation.org/ivc - this DSM quali-c, while authorized for oral use only, is a better than what Dr. Cathcart used and recommended - without any problems, to quote him.

B) We would recommend that you or your doctor purchase a pre-made, sterile sodium ascorbate solution to Cathcart's specs and packaged for IV from a compounding pharmacy. For example, a compounding pharmacy in Aurora Illinois provides it (with a doctors prescription) for $100 plus shipping -- 500 CC bottle, 250 CC sodium ascorbate. Our cancer doc calls it "hot C" (versus the cold C from the major commercial supplier)

C) In the event you plan on doing this yourself, or with the help of a nurse, please be careful and follow all instructions to the letter. (Dr. Levy and I have discussed the idea of writing a short IV/C handbook that explains everything we know, but we are only talking about it at this point.)
