Advice for IV/C for a 10 month puppy with Hepatitis

Hello
After a month of struggling,our ten month old puppy has been diagnosed with Hepatitis. The vet does not know what is causing it and her liver is continually going downhill. Her liver blood count is 1750. We were basically told that if she starts turning yellow to bring her in. We have been boosting her with oral sodium ascorbate, however, we would like to put her on a Sodium Ascorbate I/V. Could anyone that has experience please advise how many grams/per liter and the recommended drip rate. She weighs 40kgs. Using a saline solution versus a glucose solution. We live in South Africa so we are unable to purchase the standard name solutions discussed in the topics.
