Some evidence indicates that the DHAA created by in vivo oxidation of IVC not only competes with glucose, but also has metabolic effects that inhibit the utilization of glucose by the cancer cells. This may also make the cancer cells more susceptible to the peroxide created when the IVC is oxidized. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26541605

oral AA won't do it?
what about Lyphosheric AA?
Maybe fasting?

Depending on which of the only two studies on liposomal vitamin C bioavailability you want to believe, lipo-C either doesn't raise blood levels any higher than plain old oral AA http://www.livonlabs.com/proof/Dr_Hicke ... lished.pdf or it raises plasma levels slightly higher (at least in a group of 11 obese people over middle-age) http://www.moderneranaturals.com/wp-con ... mal-AA.pdf
As you can see in Fig. 2A of the second article, neither oral AA nor lipo-C can raise plasma levels anything like IVC can. According to this study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17502596 peroxide and ascorbate radical (precursor to DHAA) could only be detected in extracellular fluid when vitamin C was administered parenterally (intravenously or intraperitoneally). The general consensus is you need IV-C to fight cancer.
