Vitamin C was shown to slow down the loss of telomeres up to 62%.

Vitamin C (1 to 3 grams per day) has been shown to slow the loss of telomeres in human vascular endothelial cells, an important element in preventing cardiovascular disease.


It would be interesting to more about that long and lengthy Denmark study given the expense of doing the telomere testing. I suspect they "approximated" like a recent Univ. of Chicago "study."
