Vitamin D? It could be the cause of chronic inflammation

Genetic research shows a direct link between low levels of vitamin D and high levels of inflammation, providing an important biomarker to identify people at higher risk of or severity of chronic illnesses with an inflammatory component.

Our ET friends through the Medical Medium tell us that A) inflammation is not the "cause" of disease, but rather is a sign that our immune systems are reacting to and fighting pathogens. Thus is makes sense that vitamin D, by improving immune response would lead to more inflammation.

and B) of all the supplements that MM recommends, the one he most cautiously recommends is Vitamin D. He claims that taking too much D3 is harmful to the liver, and recommends much lower dosages than doctors generally recommend these days.

Note, Linus Pauling did not recommend supplementing with Vitamin D.

More hogwash, perhaps mixed with some useful information... Sigh, this site EAT THIS, NOT THAT, must be funded by pharma...

Taking too much vitamin C can cause side effects, including:

Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea ?? diarrhea yes.
Heartburn rarely, and switching to sodium ascorbate may help some people.
Stomach cramps or bloating rarely
Fatigue and sleepiness, or sometimes insomnia Lie
Headache Lie
Skin flushing ???

In some people, oral vitamin C supplements can cause kidney stones, especially when taken in high doses. (LIE) Long-term use of oral vitamin C supplements over 2,000 milligrams a day increases the risk of significant side effects." (LIE. I would say the opposite, i.e., in most people, taking less than 2,000 per day may result in serious health issues.)
