Taking a daily multivitamin might be associated with improved brain function in older adults, a new study says, and the benefit appears to be greater for those with a history of cardiovascular disease.

The findings did not surprise the researchers – rather, they were shocked, said Laura Baker, an author of the study and professor of gerontology and geriatric medicine at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

“I have to use the word ‘shocked,’ ” Baker said.

The researchers – from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, in collaboration with Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston – analyzed cognitive function in older adults who were assigned to take either a cocoa extract supplement containing flavonoids, a multivitamin or a placebo every day for three years. No one, not even the researchers, knew who was assigned to which daily routine until the results were revealed. wellness

Yet... too soon to recommend... not definitive.. blah blah blah (words necessary to get the study published)

It is interesting that the advanced (ancient) science tells us that "Red Clover Tea is better than any multivitamin on store shelves." And the ultimate herb for weight loss.

Life Changing Foods, Red Clover, Pg. 258

Red clover is loaded with a bumper crop of nutrients and disease-fighting alkaloids. You can get more out of red clover than any multi-vitamin on the shelf.

It is the ultimate tool for the remineralization and an amazing replenisher of deficiencies specifically in molybdenum, manganese, selenium, iron, magnesium, vitamin A, B vitamins, cofactors of vitamin (phytyonutrients that are not yet on the radar of medical research), and more.

Plus red clover's alkaloids work hand in hand with it amino acids to break up and reduce stored-up unnecessary fat, so it can be flushed out of the body. It's one of the ultimate drivers of weight loss of our time.

You can make the tea from wild red clover, and the recommendation is one cup of Red Clover tea per day, for 5 to 20 straight days. Best to take tea in the evening.
