Vitamin C made from Palm?

Post by cmcgill » Tue Aug 22, 2023 5:15 pm

It was recommended to me because of potential inflammation problems with corn. Where does one find this? Is there a possibility it would make a difference because of being made from a different substance?

Ascorbic acid is ascorbic acid. Depending on how the vitamin C is derived, the quality of the process, there should be little of the original substances in the final product.

I would think of it like making gasoline from oil. The refining process removes (transforms) all oil.

A good vitamin C manufacturing process will have removed all elements of corn. Testing can verify that the vitamin C produced is "corn free."
