So long as one of the "other" supplements is lysine, I think you are on the right track.Greetings!
I have a question concerning my Vitamin C dosing for mild heart disease
Have been taking 10,000 mg of vitamin c divided into 4 doses daily, along with the other supplements you recommend in your book, Practicing
Medicine Without a Lcense.
The last heart scan that I had in 2021 showed mild heart disease with a calcium score of 66.
My question is how long would you suggest that I take the therapeutic dosing before going to the maintenance phase?
Would you recommend retest of the calcium score?
The book is excellent, and thanks any suggestions you may have
Kind Regards
Barry
The answer to the question of how long to stay on a therapeutic dosage has a lot to do with your measured Lp(a) score.
As it approaches zero, the less proline you would require (in theory) to control Lp(a).
I looked back through my records and as far as I know have never had my Lp(a) checked
Im scheduled for a lipid profile in Janurary and will get that number
I'm taking 10,000 mg of vitamin c , 8,000 mg of Lysine, 2,000 mg of Proline spread out over 4 doses daily
along with the other supplements recommended in your book.
Thank You
Kind Regards
