Patients taking some common medications for high cholesterol and irregular heart beats can suffer severe muscle damage because of a problem in the way the drugs interact, the government warned on Friday.


Another bad day for cardiology and a field day for lawyers...

The incomprehensible thing to me is that evidently most people don't make this connection: Statins cause muscle destruction and weakness and the HEART IS A MUSCLE!

C'mon Ralph, every cardiologist knows that there's a difference between the heart muscle and the calf muscle!
