NOT SAFE Their DEADLY!

People who have had By-pass surgery read at least the first paragraph of this article!

Last line of the article:

"Until a definitive study comes out which demonstrates that they are safe, I would stick with balloon angioplasty and bare-metal stents," he said. "They are not very effective, but they are safe."

Put a metal tube into a vein because it is safe, even though not very effective. Sheesh. I guess they have nothing better to do. I wish they would try vitamins because they're not very effective but safe.

There so safe and effective you shouldn't have any other kind of surgery for at least a year after they stick one in you!

This has not been confirmed or studied and I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this?

It's being said that certain Drug Eluding Stents chemicals are neutralized by the anthrax vaccine given to our troops in the gulf war area! It's suppose to be not just recent vaccines either but those who receivied the vaccine 7+ years prior. Reports are that restenosis is more rapid and agressive with the DES then a bare metal one in those who had this vaccine.

If anyone else has heard about this and found a link please post it. I've looked hi and low and haven't found anything. Got my info from a couple of vets.
